David Tribby is a  photographer who's subject of abandoned and decaying architecture is critical to a discussion about the role of abandoned buildings in todays city centres, and their effect on identity loss. Exploring the idea of selecting a building or group of buildings that have been abandoned in Newcastle CBD for my project.... Possible sites so far are- (former) Victoria Theatre 

It seems fitting to question the way we perhaps inappropriately  treat heritage items. I’ve been reading some things on the work of Gordan Matta-Clark and Carlo  Scarpa, but I’ve continued to be concerned about the scale of building this would entail.. if it were just an extension onto existing fabric.
